An axis
for acrobatics (NR 6640) is directly vertical of the Aerodrome and
is only restricted during the hours of activity of Cazaux's zones.
There is a management
agreement between the municipality of Anderno and the Aero Club.
The location of the airfield in relation to the city along with large
cultivated areas to the North enable, with some common-sense restrictions,
minimal disturbance to the local residents even for a busy school
and its numerous circuits.
Visiting
pilots will appreciate the convenient camping available at 'les Arbousiers'
at the entrance of the aerodrome, which is only 400 metres from the
club house. The junction of the Bordeaux - Merignac road is only 30
minutes drive, or by air, MERIGNAC'S CTR is a 15 minute flight. This
location helps provide pupils learning to integrate into the traffic
of an international aerodrome in a cost-effective way.
