Andernos airfield

Andernos's airfield (LFCD) is open to the public for air traffic. The grass runways (13/31) are a comfortable 1000m by 60m wide and are at a height of 66ft (3hPa). The useful landing distance of runway 13 (the preferred approach at winds of less than 2 m/s) is 670m, with 31 being 960m.

No landing tax.

Fuel; AVGAS 100LL is available.

An axis for acrobatics (NR 6640) is directly vertical of the Aerodrome and is only restricted during the hours of activity of Cazaux's zones.

There is a management agreement between the municipality of Anderno and the Aero Club.
The location of the airfield in relation to the city along with large cultivated areas to the North enable, with some common-sense restrictions, minimal disturbance to the local residents even for a busy school and its numerous circuits.

Visiting pilots will appreciate the convenient camping available at 'les Arbousiers' at the entrance of the aerodrome, which is only 400 metres from the club house. The junction of the Bordeaux - Merignac road is only 30 minutes drive, or by air, MERIGNAC'S CTR is a 15 minute flight. This location helps provide pupils learning to integrate into the traffic of an international aerodrome in a cost-effective way.

Our popular 30 minute 'tourist' flights are available and will allow you to take your friends and take in the breathtaking scenery of Arcachon's bay area which can only be fully appreciated from the air.
